Hi, my name is Elisa Heimo. I’m the Founder and Strategic Director at Heimo Creations.

My story begins at the family farm, in the kitchen, where I lay as a child on the floor.

My mom doing her chores and going about her business, the sun light spilling on the carpet from the windows. I remember watching a small, simple yet funny insect crawl across the red striped carpet weavings. My mind completely at ease and relaxation. And from this moment spurred an idea! A simple, yet profound one, and one that would take me on adventures in the back garden, with water puddles and sticks and whatnot. This dynamic is present in us adults too, as innovation mindset, that I cultivate in my life.

Great ideas are revelations, insight, as has been said. Think of Edison creating his thousand versions of an idea before he got it right, or Newton, having a heureka moment as an apple landed on his head and he came to think of gravity. All innovation spurs deeply from who we are. Ideas are not just random occurences, but ones that bridge who we are as people, our experiences, personality, and places we’ve visited.

I want to help create meaningful work for people, doing things they naturally already have insights about. This way, we ensure the wellbeing, motivation and persistence of people and get right things done at the right time.

The work I’ve done gives indications and hope that this method will have strong yet profound implications to the structures of workplaces and the way we collaborate together, from a place of meaning and impact!
